Part 1: Rezday 3 [Update 1 2]

It’s my rezday! Yay! Look! My dads threw a party for me, outside of the RanDom Amusement Park, and they invited all my friends!
		Wow look at this awesome party Dad! Thanks! *hugs*
We ran inside to the party. Koffeekid was the DJ for me. The music was good. He messed up the Happy Birthday song, but that’s okay.
	Inside the party, the kids all played tag. I opened a few presents. I met some new friends!
		Gary the Snail and Spongebob visited! Gary left dangerous patches of snail slime all over the dance floor. Koffeekid had to announce a warning about it.
And Patrick too! What Gary has in snail slime, Patrick has in idle drool.
		Gel came and gave me a hug. I can never figure this out. When I hug Gel, I’m the one who gets squished into a tight little ball. ??? Anyway. *squish*
Look at everyone who came to help me celebrate! I felt really happy.
		Marianne visited the party. She has crutches because she twisted her ankle at a bad sim crossing. She came just in time for ice cream! Yum!
After the party, some of the kids stayed to go on rides in the amusement park (( I got a kid AO from Tiger Animations from Randy and Domineck )) Look what I can do! I can roll! Watch! Are you watching?? Watch!
		After that, Sok, Gel, Trodden, and I went to Sok’s meadow. And Trodden gave me a new pet bunny! As for Sok’s new hatchling…
Adz Childs listens carefully. Adz Childs: …it sounds like he’s saying “pee! pee!”. I think we should call him “Peepee”. Sokmunky Rutabaga: Adz, you think that’s the right name?
		Adz Childs: Yeah.

It’s my rezday! Yay!

I started the day by visiting the Milk N’ Kookies show at their new studio in Milk N Kookies Headquarters, KIC (65, 207, 26)
		Koffeekid, who is my cousin and host of the show, wished me a happy birthday on the air! I jumped up and down as everyone in the studio wished me a happy birthday! Milk N Kookies is now officially listed in SL WIki, under the heading Second Life Podcasts. Now, please vote for MnK in the First Annual Second Life Residents’ Choice Awards

Update 2 Sokmunky invited me to her chicken pen. She said a new chick is going to hatch today. I can name it. It’s going to be a boy. You can see the egg in the front of this picture. It’s gold!

Orville, Hannah, Lolita, Mary, Sally, and Harry.

Those are the names of Sokmunky’s new baby chickens. Aren’t they cute? I set up a light bulb for them so they will be warm. They eat alot!

One died right away. Sok said that happens sometimes. I guess that makes the living ones more special.
Sok, me, Dakota, Gelgisith, David, and Leendert sat around Sok’s place and watched them walk around the pen and peck at little seeds all night long.

I played TechWarfare with David, Sok, Felixe, Wlfric, and Dale. TechWarfare is a very fun game for 2-8 players. It is a cross between Battlebots and Capture The Flag. We usually play it at Spindrift – SciLands member, edu, Spindrift (187, 170, 27)

Yesterday I went to Sok‘s meadow and showed her the new concentration game Dedric Mauriac sent me after Sok and I visited him to check out his memory game. We thought maybe if it was two players it might be more fun, so Mr. Dedric made a different version of the game for us! Wasn’t that nice?

Dakota and Sola stopped by, and we all sat on the grass while Sok and I finished the game.

Sok won by a little bit. We played a few other games. Then we all cuddled until it was time to go to sleep.

(( Adz has worn the same pair of pajamas for two days now. ))

Milk N’ Kookies broadcast a show in Kids5B today. Here is a pic. Sorry for all the grey in the background. My player needs to get more memory! Crap Mariner visited too, and she wrote about it. Her pic is a little better than mine, as hers doesn’t have the grey in the background. Anyway, you can see how many kids came! It was a great show. Sokmunky spoke about story time, and how she felt about the time she read The Little Prince. She also talked about girl scouts and said some interesting thing about why its tough to translate girl scouts into SL. Sok, it was nice to hear you today. You are very special to me!

Thanks Marianne! My player says there is a reason why I dressed like this today, but *shrugs* I just think its fun.

Kids5B exhibit Bedtime Story Indoctrination Camp – by Sokmunky Rutabaga, Alton Icarus (39, 125, 23). Today Sok read us The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

I thought this story was supposed to be in David‘s Starry Nap room inspired by that story, but instead it was at Sok’s display. That’s okay. I found it.

Kids5B exhibit Our Stories – Why We Became Child Avatars by Taiven Janick and Sage Kostenbaum and contributors, Alton Icarus (72, 98, 24). My story is there, as is David’s, and Sokmunky’s, and many others. There were some kids there who I hadn’t met yet, but I read them all anyway. The stories are sometimes both amusing, describing the well of creative energy tapped simply by changing shape, and sad, bringing up real life child abuse. Many are emotionally powerful. One story was so awesome, and accurate, and touching, and said it all so perfectly, I IMed the author and made a new friend. I don’t want to say who it is without permission.
