Rezday 3 Part 2

It’s my rezday! Yay! Look! My dads threw a party for me, outside of the RanDom Amusement Park, and they invited all my friends!
		Wow look at this awesome party Dad! Thanks! hugs
We ran inside to the party. Koffeekid was the DJ for me. The music was good. He messed up the Happy Birthday song, but that’s okay.
	Inside the party, the kids all played tag. I opened a few presents. I met some new friends!
		Gary the Snail and Spongebob visited! Gary left dangerous patches of snail slime all over the dance floor. Koffeekid had to announce a warning about it.
And Patrick too! What Gary has in snail slime, Patrick has in idle drool.
		Gel came and gave me a hug. I can never figure this out. When I hug Gel, I’m the one who gets squished into a tight little ball. ??? Anyway. squish
Look at everyone who came to help me celebrate! I felt really happy.
		Marianne visited the party. She has crutches because she twisted her ankle at a bad sim crossing. She came just in time for ice cream! Yum!
After the party, some of the kids stayed to go on rides in the amusement park (( I got a kid AO from Tiger Animations from Randy and Domineck )) Look what I can do! I can roll! Watch! Are you watching?? Watch!
		After that, Sok, Gel, Trodden, and I went to Sok’s meadow. And Trodden gave me a new pet bunny! As for Sok’s new hatchling…
Adz Childs listens carefully. Adz Childs: …it sounds like he’s saying “pee! pee!”. I think we should call him “Peepee”. Sokmunky Rutabaga: Adz, you think that’s the right name?
		Adz Childs: Yeah.

You can find Random Amusement Park at Random (108, 59, 501). It is open to all ages. There are bumper cars, water rides, a saloon, and two funhouses that you won’t find anywhere else in SL.

KIDS5B – Aspen Nights

Kids5B exhibit Aspen Nights, Alton Icarus (54, 43, 24) Today at Kids5B I went to DJ Austin’s Rock Show at the reduced-size (kiddie) version of Aspen Nights, where we celebrated Tomas Gandini’s rezday! He’s 13 in human years, but he’s an elf so he’s alot older than that, he says.

I got Daddy Randy to come and dance wif me. There were some big kids there, but he was the biggest for sure!

I know this would be more appropriate for Father’s Day than Mother’s Day but I don’t have a mother (she died). In my previous post, I announced that I am seeking a little brother. This post, and one more on the way, are to help you learn more about my adopted family. I have two daddies. I will tell you about them.

[18:08] You: okay so um last Friday when i was at school the teacher gave me an assignment. i have to do it by tomorrow
[18:08] You: (( and he hasn’t started it yet and is just telling you about it now. ))
[18:09] Randy Burt: oh and he assignment is what?
[18:09] Randy Burt: maybies we can help
[18:09] You: I need your help. The assignment is I need to interview the members of my family. I have to ask these 5 or 6 questions, and write down what you say. …
[18:09] You: … the questions are about you and our family
[18:10] You: … then i have to take our picture, and then i have to type it all up and put it on a website.
[18:10] You: i have to do it for both you and daddy dom
[18:10] You: can you?

[18:17] Randy Burt: I do nothing, I am a very wealthy man who inherited “old” money
[18:17] You: Did you ever need to work?
[18:19] Randy Burt: oh no i never worked
[18:19] You: did you have a career? ( the assignment is about careers a little , and also about families)
[18:19] You: oh okay. no career.

Spaceflight Museum

Yesterday I went to the International Spaceflight Museum with my daddies and my friend Jess.

There was a giant model for each planet of the solar system, plus a few more to cover Pluto and the asteroid belt and stuff like that. I think we visited all of them. At many of the planets displays, you can visit the surface. We went to the surface of Mars, where we saw models of all the mars landers, satellites, and rovers. I wonder what it would be like to be a Mars rover?

We explored some more, and I found this cool thing. It is a 3D model of all the stars that are near Sol. I wonder which star is our sun? Our world is 3D, but Trodden’s model says the surface is flat. What’s up with that? Maybe we should launch some some real rockets to try to figure out where we are in the universe. ((Adz strokes his bare chin.)) A trip to the museum leads to more questions, than answers.

I had a good time at the Spaceflight museum and I hope to go back real soon!

It’s My Rezday! [Update]

Yup… two years, today, I rezzed onto the grid for the first time. I should be online soon to visit all my favorite places and say hi to all my friends. By coincidence, my player had a pretty nice day today. Just a few more RL things to do before he can get in world. I’ll update here if anything interesting happens.
April 1 was the end of my first year with Zell as my official special friend. I saw him last night, and he gave me a card. In a panic, I gave him all of my sound gestures I created this week from the film A.I. I dunno if that counts as a gift. I don’t plan on giving them away to just anyone, you know. We relaxed on a mushroom for a while, in the rain. Shortly after that, it started to lightning and hail. Then there was a rainbow. Zell’s rezday is coming up soon.

[Update 3:43] I woke up to a nice gift from Seth. I think its a blanket. Rise and shine!
[Update 4:42] What’s next? A trip to scout camp. My scouting friends are here, playing drums!
[Update 5:31]Of course I had to go to The Vortex. Everyone wished me a happy 2nd rezday. DJ lil paulo dedicated a song to me, “Destination Unknown” by Alex Gaudino. I can always count on The Vortex.
[Update 6:30]Well its not necessarily my favorite place but that may only be because I’ve never been there before! But my favorite friends were there, of course, partying to Janor tunes. There was Janor, Aunt Liz, Koffeekid, Sokmunky, and Zell. The place is called Nudist Paradise.	Does a little boy really need any more of an excuse to shed himself of his itchy. muddy play clothes? I think not. I did eventually talk Zell into it, too.
[Update 7:44] (( Minor crisis in RL… very noisy neighbor. Can’t hear ourselves think. Must deal with this now. )) I told my friends I would be back in a few. When I returned, I’d frozen. And could not log back in. Ah I see “Various In-World Issues”. On my rez-day!!! sheesh.
[Update 8:15] I finally got in. Koffeekid IM’ed and TP’ed me… He had a surprise party planned, at The Commune. Woo! So far, Gelgisith, Koffeekid Daddy Randy, and Daddy Dom are here. Woooo!

[Update 9:10]Then Trodden! and Lars! I can’t really post any more pictures because at least one person is ruth’ed in each shot. Thanks to everyone who came and made my rezday awesome. Sorry to those who could not tp in! Trodden gave me a Kids Karaoke box. Woot. KK gave me a teeshirt that i’m afraid to wear or talk about. Bid gave me some candy. wooo… Sok said I’d have to wait till tomorrow for my gift.
[Update 10:06]And of course, Seth. well… four crashes in 30 minutes… why fight it? its time to call it a night. Thanks to everyone who made my Rez Day special. Night Night!

Candy Land

Today I had some friends over. We played Candy Land!
Daddy Randy, TerryAnn Antonelli, and Gelgisith played the first game. Randy won that one because he got to take the rainbow road, and he didn’t draw a single special card the whole game. Not one!

			Later, TerryAnn had to leave, but Trodden and Sokmunky came over. In this picture, we are in the middle of the game. I’m winning!
Here’s Daddy Randy advancing a yellow space or two. I’m WAY over there, worrying about my lead a little. You never know what will happen, in Candy Land.
			Ohhh! Trodden won. Here we are congratulating him. Go Trodden! It was a close one.
After the game, Sok and Randy had to go. But I showed Trodden and Gel around my house. I showed them my outer-space bedroom, which has a model of the world as we know it, which Trodden invented. In the model, the sun and moon really move! I think it goes well in my outer-space bedroom.
			After a while, I got tired and crashed on my bed. Luckily I was already in PJs!
