Emilia Cornwall :
Date: May 6, 2009 @ 12:45
I came across your SLname site and did a search for Cornwall. You say you thought the name was never readily available, but I’ve had it since my Rez Day in Oct. ‘06. It was one in the database at that time that I just chose. I’ve often wondered why I have NEVER seen another avatar with that last name. Now I see only a couple of hundred of us ever took it. Interesting!!

The thing is, I launched SLNameWatch.com in June 2007. There were about 5000 last names at that time. I had no way to know which names were vanity names or publicly-offered names, or when they were originally offered. So I mark all names before that date as date opened and date closed “unknown”. In 2006 the average number of users per last name was in the hundreds, yes.
Childs has 400. (Adz Childs rezday is April 4 2006).
I’m glad the site gave you some info
