Artificial Boy

Today the Cub Scouts of Second Life and the Boy Scouts of Second Life took a field trip to Grendel’s Children. Boy Scout PL Wolverine Trodden Miles lead the trip. I think the best part about this trip was that we were allowed to explore on our own and report back to a meeting point after a while, instead of staring at the backs of the leader’s sneakers as usual.

I walked up to this cliff, and I just had to call all the other kids over. The view was so pretty. I set down a blanket and a couple kids sat on it to relax. It was as peaceful as it appears in this snapshot. However, a dragon appeared moments after this snapshot was taken! We ran away^H^H^Hwandered around a bit more, and slipped in between some cracks in the rocks. We fell into a deep, dark, damp, dangerous cavern. I was scared for a bit. I even cried a little! But the other kids reassured me. I felt fine after a short time. To me, with all its flat rocks, cliffs, and crevices, this whole region was all about finding cool places to pee off of or onto. But, I didn’t know all the boys there and was too shy to mention it or act on it. However, when I got to this underground cavern, the sound of the trickling water in every direction was more than I could take. I sneaked off to a nearby bush while the others waded in some murky water. I don’t think they saw me.
